November 2022 – Community Conversation
Community Conversation
Journey to Bethany’s unique approach gathers the gifts of the faithful to meet the needs of survivors and all those harmed by clergy sexual abuse.
To help accomplish this, we host Community Conversations each quarter. In coming together, we bring support, answers, hope, and healing to one another.
Survivors, those who support survivors, those who want to get involved, and anyone in search of healing are invited to join us on Zoom.
What Will We Talk About?
At every Community Conversation, we take time to introduce ourselves to one another, talk about our individual and collective needs for healing, share Journey to Bethany’s options and resources, and listen to your thoughts and ideas.
On November 14 we’ll talk about:
-
- our new trauma-informed response training and how we plan to make it more widely available
- your thoughts on a new initiative for prayer support
- some needs we have as we begin to create additional programs
At Journey to Bethany’s Community Conversations people are finding others who feel the same way – others who have experienced abuse. Others who are angry with the injustice. They also find people who care, people who want to help.
We kindly request that you RSVP for this online event; we will send the Zoom link a few days prior. Your RSVP helps us to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.
